African Grey Timneh

African Greys Timnehs are wonderful family pets.  The Timneh is a smaller version of the Congo, the tail is a maroon instead of bright red.  It is said African greys are the most intelligent of the parrot species.  The African grey parrot’s ability to talk and mimic sounds is unmatched.  African Grey owners will tell you that their birds even speak within context.  They are truly amazingly intelligent. While all parrots can be noisy, African Greys are known to be a little quieter than most.  They are more shy compared to say a Caique, but can also be very demanding pets.  We do not recommend an African Grey to an owner that has an extremely busy schedule and cannot spend adequate time with their bird.  This can lead to plucking and self destructive behavior.
